I’m sorry, but if you say a movie is one of the “worst film going experiences” you’ve ever had and end the review with “but for some reason I still kind of liked it,” I cannot take you as a serious film critic. Like the movie, hate the movie, but for god’s sake, don’t claim you ended up liking it after saying it was the worst thing you’ve ever seen! (Sorry, I have a serious pet-peeve with reviewers who are in the business to mislead the public. If you like a movie that everyone hates, then you’ve got to have the balls to say why or at least admit so in places other than the last sentence.) |
